OFCCP’s contractor verification portal opens for registration
Federal contractors will be required to use the Office of Federal Contractor Compliance Program’s (OFCCP) contractor portal to register and certify that they have developed and maintained affirmative action programs (AAPs) by June 30, 2022. Here is information gleaned from a recent OFCCP webinar explaining how supply and service federal contractors can register for the portal.
Key deadlines
The OFCCP’s new portal opened for supply and service federal contractors and subcontractors to register on February 1, 2022. On March 31, the portal will open for certification, and by June 30, federal contractors and subcontractors must certify whether they have AAPs in place at each establishment or for each functional or business unit as of the certification date.
New contractors and subcontractors will have 120 days from entering a covered contract to prepare written AAPs in accordance with the OFCCP regulations.
How to register
The OFCCP’s webinar walked participants through the registration process. To sign up, organizations must create an account on the portal. The initial user must provide basic information about the organization, and the portal can populate the rest based on the company’s 2018 EEO-1 reports.
