OFCCP issues new CSAL list

The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) recently released its first new fiscal year (FY) 2021 Corporate Scheduling Announcement List (CSAL). The list identifies 750 supply and service establishments for full compliance reviews, corporate management compliance evaluations (CMCEs), Functional Affirmative Action Program (FAAP) reviews, and university reviews. The agency published the methodology for developing the list as well as frequently asked questions.

White House approves $15 minimum wage rule

The White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) has finished reviewing the U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) regulation to implement President Joe Biden’s Executive Order (EO) directing certain federal contractors to pay at least $15 per hour, up from the current $10.95.

The EO instructed all federal agencies to incorporate the new rate into contract solicitations by January 2022 and new contracts by March 2022. It isn’t clear when the rule will be published in the Federal Register.
