U.S. DOL revamps method for determining prevailing wage under Davis-Bacon

On August 8, 2023, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) issued new regulations addressing prevailing wage requirements under the Davis-Bacon Act (DBA). The final rule alters how the DOL will calculate the prevailing wage applicable to a given classification and makes additional significant changes to the DBA regulatory scheme.
